Marc Bucklen
Founder and Principal
After 15 years as a sales person in the financial industry where practice management was a primary focus, Marc Bucklen Founded Elements Consulting - 2008. As a sales professional he sought out the best practice tools for both advisor and wholesaler and over those 15 years acquired a spectrum of industry knowledge that is proving applicable.
As a sales person he used a combination of consultative selling and coaching to become a consistent performer. Helping Advisors implement core practice and business management construct, which included technology and methodology.
As a consultant to start up funds he was part of the development and creation of distribution process centered on value add and client experience.
Marc and the Elements brand has become known for creating specific process and curriculum for Advisors and Executive teams, bridging the gap between methodology and implementation while identifying and developing the executive skills necessary to further individual success.
The methodology has been applied at some of the top firms in the industry; including Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, UBS, Wells Fargo, John Hancock Mutual Funds, High Tower and others.
Marc holds a BS in Economics from the University of Massachusetts. He lives in Hingham MA with his wife Kelly and son Kai Daniel, who continually inspire his work and passion for human development skiing, surfing and sailing.

Elizabeth Schehl
Managing Partner
Enthusiastic and collaborative with an instinctual ability to identify strategic opportunities, Elizabeth (Liz) Schehl will help you explore ways to generate results and transcend mediocrity.
Liz spent more than 20 years in the financial services industry, starting as a Financial Advisor before advancing to influential leadership roles across multiple business areas, including training & development, inclusion & diversity, compliance, sales execution, practice management, marketing, business optimization, and client service. Liz attributes most of her success to building dynamic, efficient, and highly engaged teams where people feel valued.
Through her passion to help others, Liz focuses on several strategic areas, including goal setting & execution, business planning, client experience, team dynamics, organizational development, and capacity, while bringing a more balanced approach to success.
Growing up in New England, Liz received her MBA and Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Southern NH University, and an MBA in Communications from the University of New Hampshire. She is a certified coach in AQai, DISC & Motivators, and CPD certified in Neuroplasticity. She has been featured in articles and interviews with On Wall Street, Think Advisor, Fortune, The Glass Door, CBS Radio, and Talent Management. Liz holds the series 7, 9, 10, 24, 63, 66 and insurance licenses.
Liz currently resides on Hilton Head Island, SC where she can begin her day watching the sunrise over the beach every morning. In her free time, she enjoys running, baking and continuously learning. Her most treasured activity is spending time with her husband and two daughters exploring the world.

Jon Burke
Managing Director

For over 25 years Jon represented some of the worlds largest asset managers to the financial advisor community. Jon's career was built on bringing advisors actionable ideas of how to be more efficient and effective in the growth of their practice. Working through challenging environments Jon's best practices of engagement and follow up were critical to Jon's success. As a sales manager, mentor and leader among wholesale teams Jon developed a sales process built on the experience of thousands of advisor meetings.
Now as a Practice Management Director for Elements Consulting Jon works with financial advisors and their managers to help them achieve their short and long term goals. Using Elements proven methodology to identify specific themes and opportunities in the practice and set achievable, measurable milestones to be attained. Consistent, open communication and personal understanding of the challenges are the bedrock of Jon's service model.
Jon has deep industry knowledge as a result of his work representing Fidelity, Putnam, Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs at the largest advisor firms. He worked closely with advisors and managers at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, UBS, Wells Fargo, LPL and Ameriprise.
Jon graduated from University of Vermont with a BA in Economics. He now lives with his wife Colleen in Park City,UT where they enjoy the active outdoor lifestyle, ski, mountain bike and hike. They enjoy visits from their three daughters, son-in-laws and grandchildren.

Maria Gatto
Managing Director
Practice Management and Business Strategy
Maria Gatto was most recently Senior Practice Management Consultant at UBS Financial Services, a position she held for nearly 12 years. At UBS, she proactively partnered with field leaders in strategic discussions and planning their practice management efforts, which included consulting with their branch managers on becoming even more impactful coaches as well as their advisors and advisory practices on increasing net new assets, running a more effective and efficient practice, leading and building a high-performing team, succession planning, and providing a greater “top-of-mind” client experience.
Maria’s foundation to her success is building trust-based relationships by having her clients’ best interests at heart, clearly understanding what is most important, developing a roadmap to bridge the gap between their current reality and future aspiration, challenging the status quo, engaging them in meaningful actions and proven methodologies, and building a cadence of accountability so they are moving their practice forward.
Prior to UBS, Maria was a Senior National Training Manager with KeyCorp/McDonald Financial Group, for over a decade, whereby she gained extensive experience in leadership, human capital planning, performance consulting, change management, training and development, and instructional design.
Maria holds an undergraduate degree in Business Education, Master of Business Administration, and, a Master of Education all awarded from Cleveland State University, and is also a Certified Value Growth Advisor TM with Corporate Value Metrics.
Maria resides in Boston, Massachusetts. Her mission is to make a positive difference in other’s lives by genuinely being curious, actively listening, and motivating people to take action.

Gina Ciampolillo
Managing Director
Practice Management and Business Strategy
Gina looks to create an atmosphere with her clients that encourages efficiency and growth by helping clients broaden their reach and realize their full potential and value. She is currently an MBA candidate at American University with a concentration in entrepreneurial studies.
Gina has spent the last year cultivating her expertise in a role that allowed to her focus on operational efficiencies, cross team communication and functionality and strategic management process in a small boutique investor relations firm setting as Senior Vice President of Sales Excellence and Client Management. Prior to this, Gina was Vice President of Strategic Relationship Management at LPL Financial, one of the financial service industry’s largest and most prominent independent broker dealers. Working with highly sophisticated independent financial advisors who owned their own practices, Gina helped her clients create compelling value propositions, marketing initiatives and adopt innovative technology. She also aided in the implementation of industry leading best practices and provided recommendations for capital support by being the liaison for M&A opportunities and succession planning. In addition, Gina was her client’s primary contact and overall advocate to the firm. Throughout her career, Gina has been a prominent supporter of Women’s Advocacy, Diversity and Inclusivity. She has initiated the creation of women and D&I business communities and has been a long-time champion of women’s rights and gender equality.
In addition to her numerous volunteer efforts, Gina also completed the 2014 Boston Marathon for the South Boston Neighborhood House, raising money for the oldest and continuously operated community-based non-profit in South Boston. During her time off, Gina loves spending time on the Cape with her husband and 2 spirited young boys. She and her family reside just south of Boston, and given her past ties to “Southie”, enjoy frequent trips into the city to hang out at the parks or visit friends.
